OK... here goes:
I have a new PC ( summertime ) with Win10. I replaced my old PC which also had Win10. The problem ~ GOG Galaxy would not work and indeed produced an error ( 0xc0000005 ) that literally for two years I tried to solve with no luck! Long story short or as they text today ' TL:DR' ~ My son said to me, "Have you tried getting the app from a different website?"
I told him if GOG, who I assume owns the app, can't find a fix, why would a d/l from a different website work?
Well s-h-i-t. Yeah, you guessed it... worked like a charm and I'm currently at 91% d/l of CP2077 with a huge smile on my puss...
