Because I have to get to a certain point in the world before I can fast travel. And in certain parts of the map, those fast travel points are scarce. So please devs, make it so I can just go into the map and fast travel from there. Sometimes, I'm just not in the mood to drive.

Sometimes they make you drive for particular reasons too. I like it, forces you to actually explore the game which is half of what makes it what it is really!
