I haven't played in 5 months, I installed the new patch and get this error. I have tried every fix I can find. Removed every direct x version and reinstalled including net frameworks, I've reinstalled gog, cyberpunk twice now, and tried all the random YouTube "fixes". What's strange is if I launch it from gog nothing happens, but if I launched it from my steam shortcut I made for it by adding a non-steam game it gives me the actual error code. Every other game on my PC works, which is all steam games anyway. So idk what's wrong. Any help would be great.

I'm having the same issue.
Decided since the patch was released to update my game and play. Every time it is supposed to go to video from intro it crashes. I've tried full re install as well as repairs and even checking for anything causing it to stop in Task Manager.
Compatibility settings and running as an admin have done nothing to remedy the issues. Over 550 hours in the game an this is really messed up. Hoping I don't have to uninstall all of my saved progress and start a new Char.

Try removing all mods. Old mods can cause erranous behaviour.

Maybe the config files are incompatible with the new patch. Try deleting all those.
