Subject. After events on food factory with malstrom dum dum (had it written wrong due to localization and having to guess the original) keeps following me. How do i get this guy off my tail? I really don't want to load. Are there any points in the game that are not far and will make this thing reset?

Searching Steams discussions gave me these solutions:
1) Make enemies kill him.
2) Use fast travel
3) Progress the game till the end of the Act 1.
