Okay, so maybe a stupid question.

I have a limited HD right now; I know I need to upgrade the space, but anyway.

The page says 100 gb space needed for the direct download. Okay, I have downloaded all 27 parts. I click on the install and now it is telling me I need an additional 60 gb free!? Which I don't have.

Am I doing something wrong or is the store page way, way incorrect on its listed size requirements?

You downloaded the offline installers for backup. The installation files need to unpack and install the game from those, which is roughly an extra 60GB.

A temporary workaround till you get the space needed would be to install Galaxy, delete the backups (for now), install the game directly through Galaxy and then uninstall Galaxy if you find it cumbersome. I know it's not ideal, but unless you can free up some 60+ GBs, that's the only option I can see.
