This game uses a lot of Turing based optimizations like DLSS & RayTraycing, DX12. I get it, it's foundation is supposed to be more on current GPU lineup like the Ampere & Turing series. But the performance on a GTX 1080 feels still very poor it's barely playable in 1440p forget about medium settings. Which degrades the quality of the game quite a bit A little more backwards compatibility would be great especially in a global GPU shortage. Not to whine, but yeah please?

I'm playing with medium settings on a 1070, and it's perfectly playable.
Something weird happens from time to time, true, but not so bad as to define it "barely playable"...
Playing on high settings on a GTX1060 with FSR activated on 1080p though. Played over 100 hours and did not experience any performance problems worth mentioning.

I'm playing on high (with a couple options on medium instead) with a GTX 980 and it's fantastic. Not a constant 60 FPS, sure, but it almost never dips below 30, especially with FSR on the ultra quality preset.
