I had recently bought crysis 1 through origin and when i tried to start it it would "stop working". i contacted customer service and they couldn't help so i requested a refund to get my 20$ back. So my simple question is DOES THIS VERSION WORK??

My specs are as follows:
Windows 10 64 Bit
AMD FX 6300 processer
AMD RAEDON RX 560 graphics card
8GB of RAM
1Tb Hard drive

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the input. any other issues i should know about?
You should ensure you have the DirectX 10.1, I think it was, that is needed for the game.
Meh that's more a sales thing. In 2007 it was already known that all DX10 (10.0) features worked with a custom config on DX9 graphic cards.

Not quite all but most, yes.

Game can be launched in DX9 mode but I forgot how to even I had to do it back in the day since my graphics card was so weak. On Windows XP it starts with DX9 automatically since that does not support DX10+.

So if we are talking DX9, you need to download and install that, of course, since it is not included with Windows 10.
