Hello

Bought this recently, but I'm having trouble opening it :/

Every time I try, the screen goes black and the ony way I can remove it is to ctrl + alt + delete my way to the desktop.

The game then tells me that "Crysis is not responding".

Is there some way to fix this? :/ Quite annoying :(

put the game in compatibilty mode windows vista service pack2 and run the game in administrator, that should do the trick

Game worked, had a power failure, now it won't even launch as administrator. On my Windows 10 machine, it launches out of GOG; on my Windows 7 machine, it cannot launch out of GOG. I had been launching as Admin and now it won't work at all. There are a number of launchers it seems. I try out of the Bin64, but it won't work. I am not even sure which is the correct launcher in the folders. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

The game didn't work for me by Galaxy Client on Win7, because the Play button is linked to
(...)\Crysis\CrysisLauncher.exe
But when I run manually the game from file
(...)\Crysis\Bin64\Crysis.exe
then it works for me well.

Thanks for this I kept crashing before the game could even open.
the switching to vista serv pack 2 worked wonders for me. (windows 7 64bit 2018)
