I had Ubuntu Linux 14 (the trusty thar or something) and the game ran very well... but when I ugraded to Ubuntu desktop 16 LTS I won't run anymore. I believe there must be missing dependencies or something (in fact, I installed the only one it told me was missing) but it just won start anyway.

Please help. Thanks

I'm on 14.04 and it doesn't start up for me either. I downloaded the latests version yesterday:

Crypt of the NecroDancer
2.2.0.4
1.24

I get this output:

./start.sh
Running Crypt of the NecroDancer
Running Crypt of the NecroDancer
NecroDancer version v1.24 loading...

Nothing about missing any libs.

UPDATE:
I installed the game on my laptop which has an Intel graphics card with free drivers and it works just fine.
The computer where it doesn't work has an nvidia graphics card with proprietary drivers installed.
Both use Ubuntu 14.04
