Looks like the achievements are bugged - after hitting 20 encounters, I was told the achievement was unlocked after every encounter, despite re-starting the game (program) and starting a new game (as in session/save). I now notice the achievement isn't listed in my Stats, where it was before.

The Friendly Fire achievement also seems to be repeatedly popping up in combat, but that is currently listed in Stats. I'm using version 1.0.6.30868 on Windows.

Loving the game...man it's such joy ramming those raiders to smithereens!
Hi there,

We noticed this happening with Mega Pieman during his livestream earlier today as well, it looks like you get a popup/toast whenever you qualify for an achievement despite already having it.

It is known! Paperclip and Sippos are on it. Looks like something was overlooked when the game was made DRM free.

Thanks for the report! :) Ram those raiders!
only question when you lose your escorts is that you stuffed.

& the ramming is great. Not so great killing my escorts into the rock face. Doh

Classic game

I have also found that when I gain or lose a vehicle during an encounter, I don't ever actually get/lose the vehicle, except for what I think are set vehicles. Dragon and Psycho Guy I got OK - but all the other times, my convoy wasn't affected.

Is there a bug tracker somewhere?
Aside from our internal bug tracker, there isn't.

All bugs are spread throughout our Subreddit, the Steam Forums and now here.

I'll post the two stickies Sander posted on the Steam forums quickly. I would advise checking out the Steam forums to see if there are people with similar issues and if there are workarounds. Sander has likely gone to bed, so he won't be perusing these forums just yet.

In regards to your issue with not gaining or losing vehicles, do you happen to roughly recall the exact situations? Whilst Dragoncar is a unique vehicle, Psycho Guy should grab a random vehicle out of all non-unique vehicles (but has a set name). Hence it confuses me why this would happen. As I mentioned in the other post, though, I am not one of the technical guys.

Thanks for your prompt replies. I will keep an eye out next time and take note of specifics. WIthout a bug tracker to reference I don't know if it's a duplicate bug report or not.
Still getting familiar with the game, but it appears "friendly fire" pops up every time an enemy launches a drone or an area of effect weapon. Also, any kind of event disrupting the world map triggers the 20 encounters achievement, I've yet to see a text box that does not make it pop up.

The game is still very playable and a lot of fun. I think this is the game many wished FTL would be. Fast, accessible and perhaps not so much about exploiting game mechanics to even stand a chance at winning. Also, proper open world gameplay.
Yeah, it looks like Achievements pop up every time you meet the requirements for them in the DRM-free build. Most noticeable in with "Stay awhile", "friendly fire" and "perfect strategy."

Whilst annoying, at least it doesn't stop you from playing. Paperclip and Sippos are on it!
