I've read that GOG releases tend to get updates and patches pretty late when compared to steam, sometimes they don't get updates at all.

Is this the same issue with Control?

TLDR: is the GOG version as stable as the Steam version (i.e. has the latest patches)

From what I've been told, it's the same version as Steam.
