If a game has been ruined beyond recognition the way Commandos 2 has, I don't think GoG should be willing to sell it until it's fixed. Gamers everywhere are always begging for remakes, but every time we get them they suck in some way and people end up recommending the original.

Companies continue to screw remakes up and we keep buying them. What's wrong with us?

They same way we do massive preorders, early access, and etc. Half of them are let downs.
