The first of the three files downloads in seconds, no problems there
The Third of the three files downloads in minutes, no problems there
The second of the three files, downloads halfway on browser and then freezes (actually freezes the computer when I try to do anything with it) and downloads like 10% on gog downloader... and then... yeah you guessed it, it freezes and freezes the computer when I try to do anything with it.
Amazing isn't it? Anybody having the same problem? Or has a miracle solution?
This is the second game I buy that I cannot play (the other being Soldiers), while I like gog.com, this might be my last purchase with them...

Sounds like your machine or your internet settings or something. Is it a clean install? Do you have any download tools running? Have you tried downloading from another machine?
Make sure your AV/Firewall isn't interfering with the download.
Try a different browser.
I'm guessing your HD has plenty of free space, right ?
Wow, thanks, simply using another computer made the job. Now to see if it installs properly XD

If another machine worked fine then it's definitely something to do with your computer. If it were my machine then I'd want to find out what is causing it to fail on big downloads.
I know, it's weird because I downloaded Beyond Good and Evil not that long ago and it worked wonder... If the problem pops up again I'll dig into it, so far it's isolated so I can afford being lazy I guess 8)

Well, for basic starters I'd check for things like viruses, spyware, malware, then look at any running processes, and also your firewall software. Those are the obvious starting points, anyway.
