Put the explosive barrels in the path of enemy tanks and when they run into them they will blow up.

I never thought of that.

Holy shit, you're a genius! I can save all my explosives for other stuff AND a barrel won't raise an alarm! :D

Woah, people. BCD is actually a lot easier than BEL. You are given many new tools to distract, lure and take out enemies. All your commandos are finally at least semi-useful. Learn to use the equipment you have, learn the hotkeys and don't shy away from trying something new.

Here, a few tips for free:
- Throw rocks to make guards look in a certain direction.
- Use cigs to lure guards away.
- Use the marionette function to take control of enemy soldiers.
- Use hotkeys.
- Combine the points above.

In every mission you always have at least one commando free for being a "puppeteer". Let Tiny knock out an enemy, then use the handcuffs, then turn the soldier into your personal spy-light and use him to distract other guards. If you feel like one of your dudes has nothing useful to do, turn him into a puppeteer and let him distract someone.

Rince & Repeat.

Ofc, this doesn't work in BEL, which makes it - like I've already mentioned - a lot harder. Especially the last few missions can be crazy.

You will be pleased to know the Commandos 1 expansion and Commandos 2 were easier. Commandos 1 has been one of the hardest games I've played, but I did manage to finish it. Excellent game, great graphics. I will return to series soon as I never had the chance to play Commandos 3.
