I know that it's already solved by the community. But i don't understand why i need to do this all myself with forum help? With that i could download .iso from torrent and dance with a tambourine for free. But with this release i'm doing it for my own money.

This affects all releases of Commandos - retail, Steam, and GOG, and that's due to a fuckup by Microsoft that, one, broke the compatibility for it in Windows 10 (and Windows 10 only!), and two, "bypassed" it with an internat compatibility library that refers to a misnamed file.

If renaming one single file is too much for you, a task that takes but a second on a game that otherwise works, then you're nothing short of entitled.
