Game still moves way too fast using edge of screen scroll method even setting it to 'slow' in game options?
I have a couple of the later CC games from Matrix and on Steam and those scroll at a reasonable rate so what gives with this versions lighting scroll malarky?

I can run it at different resolutions without a problem but so far not been able to work out how to run in a window?

CC3 were talking about here xD

In CC2 I use the arrows to scroll the map at a reasonable rate maybe it works even for CC3

The arrows do indeed work to scroll but i use the Z-M keys keys for unit actions so i don't have a free hand.

I may look into remapping the Arrow keys to WASD with a AutoHotkey script if their is no solution to slow down 'edge of screen scrolling'

**Edit
Remapping Arrow Keys to WASD works really well so the Lightening Edge Scroll Speed not really an issue now :)

I cannot for the life of me work out how to run it in a window.

I have tried all sorts of executable parameters (-w --window) etc.etc. and the usual things of looking for any kind of .conf or .ini file with a reference to fullscreen

Real shame, it makes it a lot harder to have a few sneaky games at work!!

The scroll speed thing too is a pain, I use the arrow keys a lot to move about - but that ironically is too slow! Not sure how the edge scroll would react to being in a window as well actually.
You can run it in a window using Dxwnd: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/
This will also allow you to Alt+Tab out of the game without crashing. It's a bit tricky to choose the right options, if you can't get it to work, I could upload my Dxwnd profile for the game somewhere.

About the scrolling speed, you can either run the game through Dxwnd with the frame limiter option enabled to slow down scrolling, or use an Autohotkey script to bind your mouse to the arrow keys to scroll slower.
