I installed the game only to receive info that dvm.dll was removed. I then set it to be ignored by my antivirus program. I then re installed the game without receiving any .dll error, only to now get a new error from an awful DRM system I thought was dead.

Installing the drivers off of the TAGES website doesn't work correctly. When I installed the 64-bit Drivers it told me I had to insert an original disk copy of X3: Terran Conflict. The 32-bit Drivers gave me completely different errors.
I nearly forgot, selecting yes would give me an error saying that it was unable to proceed due to an error.

Works fine for me on Win7 x64. I had to restore the dll from quarantine but didn't have to install any of the TAGES stuff.

Are you sure the dll is still there?

I was able to find it, it turned out that my Anti-Virus was not blacking it, but part of the 'Windows Security Center" had been blocking it. I have now gotten the game to work! Thanks for all the help guys!
