Hi gang,

Can anyone help with these couple of questions?

1. What is the update to Chronicles of Riddick that I just saw was available and have now downloaded/installed? I can't find any information on what it fixes and/or what additional features it provides.

2. I understood that all games provided on GOG could be rolled back to previous versions after an update. I've just looked at my Chronicles of Riddick options and there is no option to rollback to the version prior to the update that I just did. What is going on?

Big thanks,
Mark

Came to ask the same question. Hope there's an answer soon.
I would like to know this too. I don't like seeing an update and not knowing what was changed.
Did you guys sent a message to support?
It is probably some GOG Galaxy compatibility update(in-game overlay). But maybe i'm wrong.*blows the dust off from his vintage 1964 tinfoil hat* ;).Cheers

Here is the reply I got from support :

Hello,
The game files were just moved to a different, better server, but there was no change inside them.
You shouldn't have had it marked as updated in the first place as the change is for our side mostly, I apologise for that.
Interesting....
I had the game already installed (though I haven't started it up yet).
This patch is 5.8 GB for me and it's downloading the whole 5.8 GB (as opposed to just verifying my existing download).

I have NO idea what's going on, but it certainly wasn't marked as updated and I don't know why I need 5.8 GB if it's mostly their side.

Seems as though it's attempting to re-download the entire game + additional files.

(To clarify - I don't use Galaxy personally, so I have no idea if it just immediately downloads any extra files included with a game unless the user specifies it shouldn't)
