So there's a big metal crate in the middle of the room where you find the spare part for the truck. And every so often you hear banging from inside the crate, and a voice saying in Russian something like "Can anyone hear me? Let me out of here!"

I couldn't find any way of unlocking the crate though.

What's that all about?

I'd like to know this too. That is one of the things about this game that has always bugged me; it felt like an incomplete-able task.
