Hi there,
it seems i can't get carmageddon to scale in an orderly fashion on my widescreen-monitor. Usually I manage to get dos-box-games to scale right by setting the .conf-file entrys to
[sdl]
fullscreen=true
fullresolution=1920x1080
output=opengl
and
[renderer]
frameskip=0
aspect=true
scaler=none
This will give me a scaled up full screen picture at my screens native resolution, but instead of stretching it dosbox will keep the right aspect ratio, adding black bars to the sides of the screen (pillarboxing).
Now, if I try this with the 3dfx version (dosboxCARMA3dfx.conf) I will still get the stretched 640x480 picture while it works fine with the software-version. It seems, in fact, that dosbox will ignore every change i make to the 3dfx.conf-file, at least concerning the display specs. Is there a way to get the 3dfx-version to run properly scaled on widescreen hardware?
