Windows 95 Issues:

- Physics stuttering regarding your vehicle (you car wobbles and shakes a lot, causing it to lose control on the simplest of turns.

Other than that no problems but it really is a game breaking issue. On the DOS and 3DFx version I don't lose control as easily as I do on the Windows version. At first I thought maybe it was just visual stuttering, but it's actually the car itself.

There was a similar problem in regards to Interstate '76 where a wheel twisting bug was present on enemy vehicles. This mainly happened to those who had Windows 7 as their operating system. Windows XP and Vista didn't have this issue. My theory is a similar type issue applies to the Win 95 patch on Carmageddon.

3DFx Issues:

- Low FPS while in chase camera view.
- Game feels sluggish/running slower than normal.
- Unplayable FPS in Cockpit view.
- Laggy menu mouse.

Not sure if anyone can help me with the 3DFx problem.

Not sure how much this will help but maybe getting it out there will help get it updated.

Just curious: I'm not *entirely* sure, but I believe I don't have the physics stuttering problem you describe, or it is at least hardly noticeable ... I do have Vsync forced from my NVidia config (effectively limiting the game to 60FPS) *and* I have the framerate capped at 60 by editing the ddraw.ini's; maybe that has something to do with it?

I don't either, it works perfect for me.

I get the same issue on the win 95 version. After messing with the ddraw.ini file (800x600; opengl; 16-bit rendering; 60 fps limit; "nearest" texture filter) and the in game detail settings (no darkness/fog; car detail set to "mostly") it's playable, but still kind of annoying, especially in the cockpit view.
