I'm so happy this on coming to GOG. I have the CD and I have tried to play it in DOSBOX manually and its pretty hard to figure out for me. Glad its going to be wrapped up here in one neat lil package.
I have been wanting to try this out for a very long time. This is great gotta love GOG, I did the $25 pledge for the kickstarter as well.

Use hifi's ddraw.dll instead (no need for dosbox, just run the carma95.exe and off you go)

How do I run it with that?

You should have a file in your carmageddon dir called "Carma95.exe." If you do,just put the files from the zip file (should be just the ddraw.dll file and the readme text file) then just click on carma95.exe and you should be good to go (you can also change resolutions in the ddraw.ini file which gets created after running the game.)If not, just look up carma95.exe in google.
I have a Carma.bat file no 95.
