Whenever I try to quit Carmageddon 2 after the game has saved, the game freezes to a black screen. The only way to get out of it is to ctrl alt del the whole program. I tried to run it as administrator, but no luck.

Here's my setup:

Windows 8 Pro
AMD FX 8320 8-core 3.5 GHz
ASUS HD7790
16 Gb RAM
1920 x 1080 resolution

Never mind... Apparently the game just takes its sweet time to turn off. No crash there. Now this topic stands as a monument to my own impatience and stupidity. :/
