I bought my GOG copy of this game over a year ago and everything was fine with it. Hadn't played for a while, but recently went back to it, played for a couple of hours, saved, exited normally and I haven't been able to play it since.
Now the game lauches, I get the hand curser, the loading bar, but after that the screen goes blank, but the intro music plays - it's sounds as if the game is continuing to load only without any visuals. However, it doesn't respond to any key presses or mouse clicks (as far as one can tell with a blank screen) and if I CTRL-ALT-DELETE to get out of it, the task manager says that the game isn't responding (like I couldn't tell!)
I thought perhaps something had corrupted, so I uninstalled and reinstalled, but got the same result - has anyone had a similar issue and managed to resolve it?
