Does anyone know how DOS version compares to AMIGA version? Which one should be considered the definitive version?

Here's a general rule of thumb: The Amiga version is probably the "definitive" one.

Yup.

Now I've never seen the DOS version myself but I imagine it has crap sound and graphics by comparison, especially sound.
