Just purchased Broken Sword 2 and the tearing is ruining the game for me. 99% of the time D3DOverrider fixes the issue but due to how this game is rendered it doesn't. Tried forcing it on via the Catalyst Control Center but it doesn't work.
I had a look at the configuration setting in Scumm as well as the Broken Sword 2 ini but I see nothing that helps with this.
Is there any way to apply VSync or Triple Buffering to stop the image tearing so I can enjoy this classic once again?

ScummVM doesn't support vsync. It also cannot be forced, so the answer is unfortunately no.

Best way to avoid tearing would be switching to windowed mode. Alternatively, this solution may work for you (last post).
