This is a great follow up to the Shadow of the Templars, with a few graphical and interface tweaks, a serious storyline, and a few laugh out loud moments. To be honest though, I feel the story lacked the personal investment and poignancy of the first version, even though it retained it's overall character and feel. This seemed more like a treasure hunt and less individually focused, but that being said, it is still and EXCELLENT treasure hunt indeed.
This is also the last of the 2D games, and looking the the environments you can't help but miss some of the unique art direction and hand-crafted scenes that are often missing in the very same-ish looking 3D worlds of today
