JudasIscariot: It wasn't mislabeled. It had the words "Episode 1" in the file name. Please tell me how it was mislabeled.
On the downloading issues, unfortunately, it is impossible for us to split up a Mac version so that you could download it as a patch and whatnot.
jamesmchahaha: I didn't take a screenshot earlier, but I'll take and attach one now (because the only thing that is different is the file size from '4.4 GB' to '6.6 GB').
As you can see the thumbnail says "season pass", not "episode 1".
The subheading says "BROKEN SWORD 5 - THE SERPENT'S CURSE", not "EPISODE 1 OF BROKEN SWORD 5 - THE SERPENT'S CURSE".
There is absolutely no indication that the download link is for Episode 1 and not, as expected, for the full game.
I'm not sure if you use a Mac yourself, but when one clicks a link, the file automatically begins downloading. It should be made clear from the outset, prior to clicking said link. In this case, it most certainly was not!
Arguing that the game wasn't mislabeled because "It had the words Episode 1 in the file name" is petty and insulting. It's like blaming someone for not reading the ingredients and every bit of fine print on a candy bar.
[edit]
and that was a bad metaphor, because if your download page was a candy bar, there'd be absolutely no list of ingredients, and the consumer would only realise the mixup once they had peeled the wrapper off.
No, I don't use a Mac and yes, that was bad on my part to refer to the file name as I thought it was plainly visible and that's I referred to it in my precious answer. I am sorry for unintentionally insulting you as it was NOT my intent.
The issue with the downloader is beyond me but I should be able to pass on a suggestion about the downloader showing the filenames and labels more clearly because as I look at the Windows version it just shows "Mac OS X installer".
