Hi there,

I need to play this in a window as the tearing is too great full screen.

That would be fie if I could work out how to add one of the usual ScummVm graphics filters to the game, to get it to run in 2x or 3x high quality mode.

Also, how can i get the ScummVm overlay to appear ( its usually F5, but that isn't working)

To start with, I assume that you are trying to run the original version and not the director's cut.
If you already have a working copy of ScummVM for other games, all you need to do is select the folder that you installed BS1 to and it will detect it and add it like any other normal game. Then you can configure it however you want.
The version of ScummVM that comes with games from GOG.com is specially configured, and I don't know how easy it is to manually configure it to do what you want.

Editing sword1.ini, in the installation folder.
