I have a 16:10 monitor and the game graphics struck me as "stretched" just as I fired up the game. Specially suspicious is a slightly elongated "loading wheel".

I wonder, does the game assume you have 16:9 resolution or am I just being paranoid? I haven't seen any settings for changing the resolution or the aspect ratio.

Thank you.

Maybe it does make that assumption, Sallen. I have a 1600x900 monitor and the game looks fine. Your only recourse may be to play it windowed.

At least currently 16:9 is the only resolution the game supports. Unfortunately I also have 16:10 monitor and the only options we have is to play with stretched image (not as bad as in some other games) , play windowed or try tinkering with your graphic card and monitor settings to see if your hardware supports scaling to different aspect ratios. Most ATI and NVIDIA cards should be able to do that.

Sallen: (snip)
You can to turn off stretching in your graphics card and/or monitor.
The game won't be streched anymore, but you'll have small black bars at the top and bottom of a 16:10 screen.

Graphic card:

nVidia
- Go to the nVidia control panel
- Display => Adjust Desktop Size and Position
- Choose the scaling mode to "Aspect ration"

ATi/AMD
- Go to Catalyst Control Center
- Choose the settings page for your display => Attributes
- Enable GPU scaling and set Image Scaling to 'Maintain aspect ratio'

Monitor:
- Just search its on-screen display for the relevant option and choose the one that keeps the aspect ration

Thanks for your answers!

EDIT: This issue is not solved. I don't consider a show-stopper though, but if someone finds a solution everybody would appreciate you mentioning it. Cheers.

EDIT2: On the other hand I just acquired a 16:9 monitor, so I don't have to worry about this anymore.
