The only chicken I'm left to get is the one inside the "oriental lady" hut (the one with hanging candles) but I can't find anything to interact with in there (save for the chicken itself). Any help?

You know the 'supply room'? The room with lots of random objects. It's one of the huts in the lower part of that village. In that room there should be a safe on the left side of the screen, try opening it and you will find the item you need to get further in the game.

To open the safe just press the icon in the middle of it.
