So I finished and 100%'d the game in normal, then did the same through new game+ for hard. I'm thinking on doing new game+ on nightmare now. So if in Nightmare you are reset to level 1 and can't progress beyond that, I wonder... what happens when you beat the game and then start a new game+ on normal or hard again? Do your levels start over from 1 or you go back to what level you were originally before going to Nightmare mode?

If anybody knows the answer or can point me towards some new game+ FAQ that covers this, I'd really appreciate it.

I have yet to play Nightmare mode of this game myself, but if Castlevania: Order of Eclessia and Portrait of Ruin are anything to go by, if you start another New Game+ on Normal/Hard, you should still be at the level you were before you started Nightmare mode.
