When I watch the cut scene's the characters speech gets cut off near the end of each sentence.

Example with subtitles: "I washed my cat today"
Example with the speech in-game: "I washed my ca"

It's a minor annoyance nothing game breaking but it's starting to urk me.

By the way I own the original disc version. I have windows 7 64x.

I'm considering getting this game from GOG but I had the same problem as the poster above; speech in cutscenes is being cut off. I read somewhere it was related to the camera moving too fast on fast machines. Though I guess it's like running an old DOS game on a Pentium, you need some way of slowing down the machine?

Has this issue ever been fixed?

It's best just to have subtitles on and finish reading they're sentences.
Discovered a fix. It was all pretty obvious in a hindsight.

Basically you need to lock your framerate at 30fps. You can achieve this using f.e. MSI Afterburner which works with both AMD and nVidia. Remember that BR was originally a console game so sound engine was probably designed with specific framerate in mind. Of course you lose the fluidity of 60 fps gameplay but sadly there is no other way to get around this issue.
