Okay so I have been playing Blood 1 non stop for the past month! This is a very addicting game and if for some reason you havn't played this epic game, then you better stop reading this and buy the freakin game! For a measly 6 bucks!
Anyway, while playing Blood, I also occasionally listen to my ipod and it got me jotting down a few songs that go great with Blood. So I was wondering, what one song or a few do you think goes great with Blood?
I am stuck between two songs by the same band as to be my favorite...
War is the Answer and Burn It Down, both by Five Finger Death Punch
Okay, back to getting my hands bloody ;)

Meh. Modern Rock or whatever that is is just horrible and certainly doesn't fit the mood of Blood. I'd rather listen to the original soundtrack or something like Type O Negative.
Edit: or Black Sabbath.

Yeah its modern heavy metal, but I do repsect the original soundtrack and the Type O Negative song, because you can't get more original then that. But coming from my generation, I like the heavy stuff.. not the rawr rawr cut wrist rawr rawr shit... but the good shit. Five Finger Death Punch is one of a kind, and is recieving alot of good popularity through the modern metal world.
Anyway, I think the rage of Five Finger Death Punch goes great with some shotgun bullets going straight into a bloated butcher's body cavity. Also the lyrics work perfect I think.

The only "gurgle and scream into the microphone" metal band that I could see going with Blood is maybe Carcass. I don't know, maybe it's my advanced age that I can't really get into this new metal that is going around. Or perhaps, Eternal Tears of Sorrow. They are one of the few new era metal bands I think are tolerable.
I think that alot of these "screamo" metal bands, which is not even metal in my opinion.. just garbage that emo kids listen to, really destroys what metal can be. I grew up with my dad in a rock band and have always been around hard rock and metal. I mean hey, I wear skater clothes and I don't think anyone for a second would think I listen to hard rock.
How old is advanced age exactly? lol. I do respect your opinion though, and its great to see people have different music tastes with blood. Just thank God that no one posted some new hip hop which they think goes great with it.
I think Blood is a dark and disturbing game that can definately pack a punch into afternoon, and by that its the only game I play now besides Counter Strike: Source. It is very rock n roll all the way through, and I would never think twice.

Well, I'm 30 years old so I was in my teens when Blood was released that makes me pretty damn old. I like Heavy Metal, but mostly old school style metal. As I've gotten older my musical tastes have broadened somewhat, so I'm not a complete curmudgeon against all new music.

old school metal packed a punch, instead of that mellow wimp nu-metal kids like these days.

My idea of old school metal isn't Motley Crue, or Great White. There is a difference between, bands like Black Sabbath, Motorhead or Judas Priest and bands like Warrant or Poison. Also, like I said, I'm old so I can be excused for having terrible taste :P
Let's see.

War - Why can't we be friends?

or the theme of Benny Hill Show.

Both add a special quality to your gaming experience.

So does the Guile Theme from Streetfighter II. It goes with everything.
Old Danzig songs from the first four albums fits Blood really good. They have a dark, weary old world feeling.

These albums were made in the early 90's but they are made in a retro 80s and 70s heavy metal style mixed with blues and old rock and roll.
One song "I'm The One" even earned Glenn Danzig the nickname "Evil Elvis" in the metal press because that is how it sounds like :-) Glenn Danzig even sounds like Jim Morrison on "Little Whip".
Most of the songs are about something demonic or satanic but in a groovy way.

For Blood I would especially recommend Twist Of Cain, The Hunter, She Rides, 777 and Not Of This World.
in the mood of the original soundtrack, i think Moëvöt would work really well with blood 1.
and also, just for the title, La Concubine De L'Hémoglobine by MC Solaar :p
Blood + Dethklok = Hilarious!
I personally prefer to keep outside music out of these kind of games

I think the lack of music in some places just really adds to the Creepyness of the atmosphere

which is one of the reasons that I think makes blood very unique - it's Atmosphere and feel :)
