Is there a way to turn the game to Windowed mode? I would love to be able to stream it but with only one monitor it makes that rather fiddly.

Okay they updated the dxcfg. You can now set it to windowed mode.

I dont think that game can be run in any windowed mode. This is Win9x game, time when it be more critical to not alt-tab\minimize games. Currently for just play you can download and use GOG build as is - with they own wrapper. But there is another one mod-wrapper (more than just compatibility thing, but most authentic way to play PC version, without replacing exe file - best way to play before GOG release) - Glwrapper from Verok. And for streaming process we can named this mod as necessary for streaming this game. Same as other games wrappers from Verok. Very cool works, especially for streamers with fast alt-tab and borderlesswindowed mode (actually it alwas work in borderless widnowed or windowed - no native fullscreen, so resolution\refreshrate\vsync from Desktop will be used).

Verok's mod provides support of Windowed Mode without any problems (I wrote several videos I placed in this forum and on Verok's blog in this mode - it is evident that now it is very strange to use the resolution 800x600 as native one on the newest PCs). Moreover, it is strange that gog wrapper does not provide it, because such gog wrapper for SR1 (which was created at the March of this year and which is not released yet) has also support of Windowed Mode (by using the settings from the additional menu).

GOG wrapper sometimes even allow windowed mode for games initially not support this. Still not every games possible to start in windowed. Just try and if it work - it work. If not - nothing that GOG can do here. GOGs wrapper is minor compatibility thing, no any miracles.

Any game can have windowed mode and if some game does not have it on gog, this means only one thing - the tech team of gog is too lazy to provide it and fans are ok with this fact.

So, the game can only be streamed in Windowed Mode? Fullscreen for my OBS only shows a black screen no matter what. Starting in Windowed Mode and then expanding to full screen freezes OBS until I pull it back. The only way I've been able to make it appear in OBS is to start in Windowed Mode and then drag the box out to a decent size.

If game in windowed - should be fine. Capture it as desktop maybe. Any else troubles - is OBS side issues.
I dont think it can be streamed in native fullscreen.

KainGL wrapper-mod make it always be windowed (borderless fullscreen windowed or standard widnowed). Fot streaming better to use KainGL instead of GOGs buil-it GOG DX Wrapper.
