After beating the "boss" at the end of the Temple of Ianna level and going on to retrieve the sword, I lose control of my character (he/she just stands there) and the hud disappears. Losing control of my character has happened before in cutscenes but force-quitting and restarting the game solves the problem. I have tried this multiple times but the problem still persists. Anyone have an idea on what could be the problem?

Are you using OpenGL renderer? Try changing it to Direct3D or to nGlide.
Anyway, you're not alone.

I think a previous solution, from another posting, is to walk backwards through the doorway. It worked for me...

solution is simple - problem was solved long time ago: turn on vsync in your graphics card settings, and/or hold 'print screen' to slow down fps
