My understanding is that this is the video option you have to use in order to utilize nglide. Unfortunately, it seems like this mode along with virtually all of the other modes just give me runtime errors right after the opening video upon booting the game. The only one I seem to be able to use is rOpenGL, but having the image all stretched out is driving me crazy.

Has anyone else experienced these issues or have any idea how to fix them?

It was happening to me until I did this.

Go to the folder the game was installed to. Then go to Data. In Data, there's a folder named Video. Rename that. Anything you want, doesn't matter. Believe it or not, fixed the problem for me.

If only the game wouldn't freeze during the load screen now :( Still, give it a shot, should stop the crashes.

EDIT- If you do experience the game hanging while in a load screen, try Windows ME (service pack 4) in compatibility mode.

EDIT 2- And it seems that the settings in nglide _NEED_ to be set to the same resolution as your desktop for the solution in edit 1 to work. For example, my resolution settings in nglide are 1920x1080, the same as my desktop settings. I have 4:3 ratio set, which works fine and doesn't stretch the image.

This definitely worked. Thanks a lot for the help; I can actually play now.

Awesome, glad it worked! Did some more experimenting, compatibility mode might be unnecessary. The resolution in nglide fixed my hanging issue.

Enjoy! Game holds up really well!

Thanks a lot man, just tried that and it worked ! The thing is, I didn't get the intro video anymore, are there any other videos I'm gonna miss in-game?

Not if my memory serves correctly. Pretty sure that was the only one. There's only one file in the Video folder anyway.

Good, then I can play in peace. The interface sucks ass, but I like how gory it is the little I've played so far ;)
