That would be really good for this game, is it keyboard/mouse only?

Tricky, and YMMV
Thats a shame, i guess because this version is more just a remaster rather than a remake, adding controller support would be awkward. Maybe they will make a remaster too, with full controller support if this version does well.
The problem with the new release is it has some half-way controller support baked in. Using a 8Bitdo Pro2 controller, I can navigate menus without any wrapper. With a wrapper (I use antimicro), my controls work, except for the turn left and right. It makes me spin super fast if turn left and turn right are mapped to the left analog stick. If mapped to the D pad or anywhere else, they function right. However, the D Pad will occasionally take over a movement function too, so pressing up on the D-pad will cause me to walk forward and keep walking forward until I press up on the joystick or on the keyboard. It has the same problems with the other directions as well. So I may remap my controller to have move and turn on the Dpad and have my D-pad functions (select shield, select inventory item, select weapon, and Left + Right for combos) mapped to my left analog.
