I want to ask... what is the best settings for graphics? In default "r3Dfx Voodoo1-2" framerate get lower when there were buring torches. I manage to solve that problem going to 'rOpenGL', but... now I have 'stripes' while near 'unstable source of light', like torches and fire.<I hope you can understand, because my language lacking make it hard to describe it>
It's not serious problem, but I would like to know is there anything that could be done to repair it.

I have the following:

rOpenGL and in the Textures tab select by filtermode GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR, this looks best on my system, the lighteffects still look good in this day and age.

Sadly I still habe stripes. :/ Like I said - it's not a big deal, but I would like to fix it.

You could try forcing v-sync on for blade.exe within your driversettings.
Well, according to my system and my experiences (and its performance), D3D is the easy solution. Really nice and stable.
