anyone know if there is a way to force the game into window mode ?

Go to the Installationfolder and start the "winsetup.exe" for each game. There you find the option to "Run in Window instead of fullscreen".

but don't forget to use the x2/x3/x4 anti aliasing/neighbor color, as it magnifie the size by x2/x3/x4 :)

I tried using the winsetup and still no good, any advice?

I have Windows Vista. I had to right-click the setup program and "run as administrator" then choose: "Run in window" and Graphics driver "Direct Draw 5" and then (through trial and error) I chose whichever "_x nearest neighborhood filter" looked best on my screen. Hopefully that will do the trick!
