My next favorite thing, right after playing the games - ranting for a bit about them. I know nobody cares, I just had to put this out there...
Oh the ending, oh how could you...
I quite enjoyed my time playing, but was really hoping for a some sort of big payoff in the end, to wrap everything up nice and tidy. Instead, I get a twist that I saw coming about halfway through, and finally a 10 sec cutscene, and a rather lame one at that.
"I broke the curse" the pencil moustache sporting protagonist proclaims. Sure, by doing each and every thing that was expected of you. If anything, I'd say you awoke the curse, and made things far worse.
The last Gordon? So noone in the family ever had children out of wedlock? James seemed to be affected, so bearing the Gordon name doesn't seem to be crucial. There might be hundreds of unsuspecting blood-relatives bustling about all over the place.
Also, who killed William, I ask you? It surely couldn't have been Samuel, so, hurray for plot holes!
How did anyone manage to drain Henry's blood? Heck if I know. Etc. etc. ...
I know there's parts 2 and 3 (which I will get to in due time), and maybe some things will get straightened out there, but still.
So, sorry for the rant, I think I'll get on with my life now...
