Ok, but is it [related to/ a fork of] the Engine of Pillars of Eternity or is it a separate development that just _looks_ like the Engine of Pillars ?

Completely created from scratch based on Unity. It has no affiliation (neither technically nor otherwise) to Pillars of Eternity.
