I'm deaf, and when I tried Bioshock at a friend's, I saw that it didn't have subtitles. Does this remastered version add them?

I'm playing Bioshock 2 Remastered and it has subtitles for both speech, movies and even art on walls (though not sure why as these can be read). But I have regular Bioshock 1 on disc and this offered the same thing. Is this not what you mean?

Huh, I tried the first one soon after it came out a long time ago. Maybe I missed it or they added it afterwards? Thanks for letting me know.

In most games subtitles are usually turned off by default. But it's rare when they're not available at all.
