I have a Windows 7 (32bit) OS, an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU, and a eVGA GeForce 8800GT videocard. When I first started the game, everything looked great, but when the game engine really kicked in, I started to have the visual glitches everyone report.
While turning off HW Vertex Processing fixed it, I'm curious as to what is that. Am I losing visual quality? I read in another thread that it supposedly orders the vertex processing to be done on the CPU, so: will my CPU (currently running at 3.6 GHz) be affected?
I just recently bought severeal GOG.com games, and this is one of the first I actually try to play.
