This is the first game I've bought a game for a PC, so needless to say I'm at a loss for what I'm supposed to do to repair my issues. I own a Windows Vista, and the game isn't running to hot. Eyes popping out, graphical tears, etc. I don't know how to access the area that I can repair it in. Can anyone help out a noob and give recommended info on what and what not to do? It'd be greatly appreciated.

Your experience is almost identical to mine except I picked up the game during the GOG 6th Anniversary sale.

Without the fix in place that first fight gave me a head ache. GOG has one of the most helpful communities that I have ever come across.

i was having perfomance issues on both my desktop and laptop and tried what the bream suggested and it worked. Now plays decently on both.
