As the thread title implies, I'm trying to download the English BG&E installer, but the GOG downloader is saying that it's the Spanish version. Yes, I've checked my library multiple times to make sure I'm actually trying to download the English version, or at least according the "select language" dropdown.

Since my internet has a data cap, I'd rather not download 1.5 gigs of data needlessly. Should I go through with the download anyway?

What's the actually file name of the installer? Try switching off the GOG downloader in your shelf and use your browser.

Right, there's a glitch actually :

but it has no real impact, since it's the same installer for all languages.
