I can't begin to tell you how glad I am to see that Beyond Good and Evil is being resurrected / given the second chance it rightfully deserves. This is a game begging for a sequel, and for the life of me I can't figure out why people did not buy this game in droves. In my case, I didn't get it til the price was about $10 in a PC bargain bin, and even then I bought it on a whim. Perhaps the marketing angle sucked.
I still remember the characters and the story from this game, and I haven't played it in years. It looks beautiful, plays beautiful, has excellent voice acting and multiple translations (though I only played in English).
I'm going to dust off my old copy. I'm tempted to buy another copy from here just so Ubisoft gets the message... Hurry up and make BG&E 2!
