The first time I saw this game I was like "what the... is this a novel or something?". Fast forward many many years I finally decided to give it a try just because it was now free.
And it quickly became clear that this was definitely one of the best adventure games I've ever played (after Monkey Island and Broken Sword).
Very intriguing story, gripping atmosphere, clean interface, and hours of fun.

I bought the game when it came out on 3.5" disks back in the day. You had to be there to understand why the title is perfect. Plus i got a Gibbons mini comic with the game. If you were into comics in the 90's this game was big.
What's wrong with the title?
I find it awesome.
I had the original box with the comic, too. I had read a review in a magazine before I bought it, so no surprises there. I liked the box with the high gloss logo on "raw" cardboard (don't know how to express that better in English).

I don't get that problem with the title... "Monkey Island" could just as well be a book title, too. Robert Louis Stevenson's Monkey Island, successor to the famed Treasure Island! :)

And, by the way, what's wrong with books? :P
The title is absolutely brilliant..

The title alone was the reason i even took notice of this game..
The city is situated under a sky of steel, so it's a very accurate name!
I think it's a very cool, literary, stylistic name. It's unique and creative.
I kind of agree with the original poster about the title, while its a pretty sweet sounding string of words, it doesnt really convey how quirky and funny the game is. I was expecting something somber and dark from the title, turns out this game is basically Monkey Island set in a dystopian future, i love it.
