i have reached the end of the game where you have to take the frozen meat and drop it into the monster's belly. i have tried hanging the rope and dropping the meat into the hole with the tongs, but nothing happens. what am i doing wrong? is the meat still supposed to be white, or is it supposed to be black like it is? can you help me?

I believe you must do something to the meat first.

Yes the meat is still meant to be white when you do this, so you need to dip it in the tank to freeze it then immediatly go over and drop it into the pit. I believe you can slow the game speed down in the menu to make this easier if your reaction time is not fast enough(just like the link eyeball bits).
