I'm having problems with the music volume constantly being too high... I lower it in the settings, but a few minutes later it seems to climb back up to uncomfortably high levels. It seems it resets back to the previous volume with every new room I move to. Has anyone else experienced this?

I noticed this too... Trying to listen to some pink floyd while playing. I just totally muted the game from windows mixer but of course that way you wont hear the dialog or sound fx

Try setting the volume in the ScummVM menu instead of the in-game one. The settings in both menus are supposed to be linked and change together, but it's still worth a try.

Instead of pressing F5, use CTRL+F5 and use the Options button in the menu that appears. Set the volumes you want there; the sounds and voices volume can also be changed, and all are independent from each other.
